Community Cupboard is the local food bank in Boone County that caters spacifically to families with children in the District #100 schools. Here are ways we can all help:

Volunteer to help clients on Thursdays from 2 to 4 p.m.

Volunteer to help stock shelves on the first and third Thursday of the month at 10 a.m.

Donate money.

Donate items:
- Plastic or paper grocery bags.
- Personal care products such as shampoo, toothpaste, toothbrushes, and deodorant.
- Paper products such as toilet paper and paper towels.
- Household cleaning products such as dish soap, liquid laundry soap, window and wood cleaners.
- Food

Belvidere/Boone County Food Pantry is the more general local food pantry found at 200 S. 5th St, Capron, IL. St. John's collects cardboard from our members and delivers it to the food pantry to be recycled for profit. This is also where all of our "Bags for Hunger" were sent during the month of May.
